Layer Chili Salads
1 can chili with beans
4 cups lettuce
1 cup tomatoes, diced
1 cup onions, diced
2½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup salsa sauce
1½ cups sour cream
How
to cook:
1.
Layer lettuce, tomatoes, onions, chili with beans,
salsa, cheese and sour cream in a large salad bowl.
2.
SERVE immediately.
Greenpepper Chili
Salad
Salad Mix:
purple cabbage, thinly cut carrots, lettuce, tomatoes,
olives
or 1 bag prepared
salad mix
1 cup green pepper, diced
1 can chicken chili
¼ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
How
to cook:
1.
Heat one can of chicken chili in saucepan or in the
microwave.
2.
Make salad (best if cut fine) with lots of lettuce,
tomatoes, green pepper and olives. Put desired amount in dish
or bowl. No need for salad dressing.
3.
Pour desired amount of chili on top of salad. Sprinkle
with cheese. Serve with corn chips if desired. We use
vegetable chips most of the time.
